Wiki Version:
This project contains the results of a GDPR data request to Sony for data related to my own PlayStation history. This is used as an illustration of the potential usefulness of data requests/data donation in games research. The .xlsx file contains a large number of separate sheets, each with a different category of data (e.g., play sessions, trophies, downloads, etc.) The .docx file contains the email chain used to request the data, to document what was required to complete the request and the duration it took. The ScopusScreenshots folder contains three screenshots detailing the results of search queries, to illustrate the number of published articles on a particular topic (dysregulated gaming) or using particular methods (cross-sectional; longitudinal).
