There are no data available on a quantitative assessment of systematic reviews published in Audiology, as well as details on the conduct of these reviews considering the different issues of the systematic reviews addressed (epidemiological, therapeutic, diagnostic, among others). In addition, there is no report in the literature considering the large number of characteristics of systematic reviews that will be explored in this article.
Therefore, the aim of this study was to describe the characteristics of the Systematic Reviews published within the Audiology specialty indexed in the main health databases, during the period of the new coronavirus pandemic, from 2019 to 2021.
