Category: Methods and Measures

Description: Data collected: Data will be collected from criminal justice databases on the following: (1) the incident of violence that occurred, (2) the ODARA items and score, (3) criminal justice disposition, (4) IPV re-offense at follow-up (possible time frames are 1, 3 and 5 years). Additional data may be collected on offender and victim characteristics or aspects of the violent incident that may help us to predict risk of IPV re-offense more accurately. See the attached data dictionary for additional information.
