This component contains data, or directions for downloading data, used in the paper "Rising Intragenerational Mobility in the United States 1969-2011." We cannot redistribute the raw IPUMS (Census and ACS) or PSID data, but the Wiki Pages contain instructions for obtaining the relevant samples and variables. The data we can provide are crosswalks that map 1970 and 2000 occupation and industry codes, as well as self-employment indicators, into the micro-meso-macro class scheme developed by Jonsson and colleagues.
