This folder provides a script, functions and fictious test images to calculate several indices of visual complexity using in-built Matlab functions and external toolboxes. The script includes a custom algorithm, a Feature Congestion and a Subband Entropy measure (Rosenholtz, Li, & Nakano, 2007), and image file size. Please see the description in the script itself for more details. Links to more toolboxes and code are provided in the script.
