Description: We investigated the influence of morphology in early reading acquisition in Arabic among one hundred and forty Arabic children from Grades 1 to 3. Reading tasks evaluated the presence of a morphology facilitation effect in word and pseudoword oral naming. Additional tasks assessed the contribution of phonological and morphological awareness to word recognition and comprehension.
