Wiki Version:
These provide data analysis files for "Using automated acoustic analysis to explore the link between planning and articulation in second-language speech production" by Matt Goldrick, Yosi Shrem, Oriana Kilbourn-Ceron, Cristina Baus, and Joseph Keshet. Note: analysis files were updated after detection of an error in coding of Spanish-speaking participants. (This did not impact the qualitative pattern of results.) From this page, you can access data files: - [baus_data_trimmed.Rdata][1] Provides the full set of VOT data (after trimming), broken up by voiced/voiceless and analysis type (German speakers, Native vs. Nonnative Productions; Spanish productions, Native (Spanish) vs. Nonnative (German) speakers) - [baus_rts_trimmed.Rdata][2] Provides the full set of RT data (after trimming). - [baus_durations_trimmed.Rdata][3] Provides the full set of word duration data (after trimming). You can access the R scripts for conducting regression analyses: - [baus_vot_analysis.R][4] Analysis of VOTs - [baus_rts_analysis.R][5] Analysis of RTs - [baus_rts_analysis_OrigPaper.R][6] Analysis of RTs, incorporating frequency, following methods of Baus, Costa, & Carreiras (2013) - [baus_rts_analysis_relation_vot.R][7] Analysis of relationship between RTs and VOTs - [baus_duration_analysis.R][8] Analysis of word durations.
