Presenters: Yasmeen Shorish, Shea Swauger, David Riordan Abstract: Libraries are increasingly investing in systems that can track and correlate user behavior. This proposal seeks to interrogate the methods and ethical implications of these technologies, questions how well positioned libraries are to advocate changes to those technologies, and seeks to establish guidelines for how to operationalize interrogation of technology.
