Contains all analysis scripts and results for Experiment 3.

The main analysis file that produces the results report
experiment3_analysis.html
is
experiment3_analysis.Rmd
(an R markdown file). It requires the prepared data file
dat_prepared.rda
, several fitted model files (see below), as well as the helper function
helper_functions.R
. This file can also produce the results figures (as
pdf
s).

experiment_3-models.R
is the main analysis file fitting all reported GLMMs and LMMs. It produces the following model files:
e3_neither_models.rda
,
true_model_selection_between_exp3.rda
,
true_model_selection_within_exp3.rda
, and
exp3_true_separate1.rda
.

The code ran in the following
R
session:

> sessionInfo() R version 3.3.3 (2017-03-06) Platform: x86_64-pc-linux-gnu (64-bit) Running under: Ubuntu 14.04.5 LTS locale: [1] LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 LC_NUMERIC=C LC_TIME=en_GB.UTF-8 [4] LC_COLLATE=en_GB.UTF-8 LC_MONETARY=de_CH.UTF-8 LC_MESSAGES=en_GB.UTF-8 [7] LC_PAPER=de_CH.UTF-8 LC_NAME=C LC_ADDRESS=C [10] LC_TELEPHONE=C LC_MEASUREMENT=de_CH.UTF-8 LC_IDENTIFICATION=C attached base packages: [1] stats graphics grDevices utils datasets methods base other attached packages: [1] latticeExtra_0.6-28 RColorBrewer_1.1-2 effects_3.1-2 lattice_0.20-35 tidyr_0.6.1 [6] dplyr_0.5.0 multcomp_1.4-6 TH.data_1.0-8 MASS_7.3-45 survival_2.41-3 [11] mvtnorm_1.0-6 reshape2_1.4.2 afex_0.17-8 lsmeans_2.25-5 estimability_1.2 [16] lme4_1.1-12 Matrix_1.2-8 knitr_1.15.1 loaded via a namespace (and not attached): [1] Rcpp_0.12.10 zoo_1.7-14 assertthat_0.1 digest_0.6.12 R6_2.2.0 [6] plyr_1.8.4 backports_1.0.5 acepack_1.4.1 MatrixModels_0.4-1 stats4_3.3.3 [11] coda_0.19-1 highr_0.6 ggplot2_2.2.1 lazyeval_0.2.0 minqa_1.2.4 [16] data.table_1.10.4 SparseM_1.76 car_2.1-4 nloptr_1.0.4 rpart_4.1-10 [21] checkmate_1.8.2 splines_3.3.3 stringr_1.2.0 foreign_0.8-67 htmlwidgets_0.8 [26] munsell_0.4.3 base64enc_0.1-3 lmerTest_2.0-33 mgcv_1.8-17 htmltools_0.3.5 [31] nnet_7.3-12 tibble_1.3.0 gridExtra_2.2.1 htmlTable_1.9 coin_1.1-3 [36] Hmisc_4.0-2 codetools_0.2-15 grid_3.3.3 nlme_3.1-131 xtable_1.8-2 [41] gtable_0.2.0 DBI_0.6-1 magrittr_1.5 scales_0.4.1 stringi_1.1.5 [46] sandwich_2.3-4 Formula_1.2-1 tools_3.3.3 parallel_3.3.3 pbkrtest_0.4-7 [51] colorspace_1.3-2 cluster_2.0.6 quantreg_5.29 modeltools_0.2-21
