This space is a work-in-progress collection of 'reading sets' intended to facilitate small-group discussion by providing a brief introduction, example discussion questions, and sets of suggested readings.
**Potential resource types - with examples of each**
* Readings on a specific aspect of scientific practice from the perspective of different disciplinary contexts - see the example on **[classification practices](https://osf.io/j2ut5/wiki/home/)**. Other practices that might be of interest: modelling, data visualisation, calibrating measurement instruments, statistical techniques, peer-review practices, pre-registrations, sharing data and materials, lab notebooks, etc.,
* Readings on selected topics (to facilitate small group discussion about those topics) see examples for **[the objectivity of contingent knowledge](https://osf.io/8wer2/)** and **[racism in the sciences](https://osf.io/y6j2n/)**
* Readings on selected research trends within historical, philosophical, and social studies of the sciences (to provide an introduction to contemporary literature) - see **[example on the 'turn' to practice](https://osf.io/pr74x/)**
Jargon terms in these will be linked through to an
annotated glossary [that aims to clarify terms used in the other resources being developed](https://osf.io/v8sp3/)
**Other resource ideas?**
Please include any suggestions in the comments.
