Description: The first aim of this research is to test whether systematically fewer unique interaction partners (i.e., specific people) are captured with signal- versus event-contingent experience sampling reports. The second aim is to examine whether there are differences in social roles and other characteristics (e.g., emotional closeness) of interaction partners. Building on aim one and two, the third aim is to explore whether the two data collection methods capture social interactions of different quality when taking into account that these interactions are nested within unique interaction partners.
