![Dashboard][1] *Click on the image above to go to the SDG & COVID-19 publications Dashboard.* This dashboard provides real-time insight into the research response to the COVID-19 pandemic and its relationship with the UN SDGs. The dashboard showing the fluctuations in the SDG/COVID-19 research output over time can be accessed by clicking on the image above. You can also access the lists of publications which feed into the Dashboard through the 'Links to Europe PMC Search Results' project wiki page in the panel on the left. Open science is a key enabler of knowledge transfer and has been of utmost importance during the COVID-19 pandemic. Moreover, online platforms have been accelerating international collaborative research by providing open access to the latest epidemiological, clinical and genomics data. (OECD,2020). Europe PMC is an open-access repository of life science publications and preprints, actively contributing to the global move to open science. In addition to speeding up the availability of relevant literature, Europe PMC provides access to COVID-19 relevant publications in a format that enables flexible text mining (Araujo, 2020), thus supplying tools for a comprehensive exploration of the wider impact of the pandemic. Key messages: - Open research enables collaborative efforts to mitigate the detrimental effects of major global adverse events such as the COVID-19 pandemic. - Fluctuations in the SDG relevant publications over time can be explained by the increased interest in the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on inequalities in areas such as health care and education.
