# README The diagram shows requirements for Plan S compliance in one page based on the [Guidance on the Implementation of Plan S][1]. ![Diagram of the requirements for Plan S compliance in one page][2] A publication can be Plan S compliant *either* * in a pure OA journal/platform, *or* * on a OA repository, *or* * in a hybrid OA journal under a tansformative agreement. For each of these options you can start with the corresponding node and follow all edges to see the needed requirements. **For example**: A publication in a OA repository is Plan S compliant if the main requirements are fulfilled, the repository fulfills the connected metadata, organizational, and technical requirements, and moreover the corresponding journal/venue fulfills its connected metadata, technical, and self-archiving policy requirements. Alternatively, one can look at the colors and in this example needs to fulfill all green and blue requirements. ## Versions * Version 3 from 2018-01-12 * [Version 2][3] from 2018-01-05 * [Version 1][4] from 2018-01-03 ## Files * Image Files: PNG, SVG, JPEG, PDF * Original File: VUE resp VPK which can be opened with [VUE (Open Source, platform-independent)][5]. ## Rights CC-BY 4.0 [1]: https://www.coalition-s.org/feedback/ [2]: https://osf.io/uajp9/download [3]: https://osf.io/uajp9/?version=2&displayName=plan-s-compliance-2019-01-05T15:16:12.545160%2b00:00.png [4]: https://osf.io/uajp9/?version=1&displayName=plan-s-compliance-2019-01-03T16:52:18.225666%2b00:00.png [5]: http://vue.tufts.edu/
