Description: This lightning talk will showcase the latest work from the Open Preservation Foundation. In June 2018 we launched our new strategy along with a refreshed vision, mission and values. The strategy sets out the long-term direction for the organisation, establishes the OPF’s position in the digital preservation landscape and guides the tasks, tools, and projects that the Foundation will address. We will briefly explain our concept of the OPF reference toolset. It is intended to show how OPF tools fit into a generic digital preservation workflow. We will introduce our new roadmaps for the open source tools under our stewardship including JHOVE and veraPDF, and explain how the community can help contribute to their development. We will also cover development highlights from our tools and projects including JHOVE error message work, veraPDF, EARK4ALL and the Preservation Action Registry.
