Wiki Version:
Here we present the data and the analysis files associated with our birth control project. For each sample, we have posted the raw data, the cleaned data (i.e. selecting the participants on birth control, removing speeded responders) and the cleaning code that was used. The cleaning procedure was the same across samples as can be seen in the code. The only difference is removing those participants whose data were included in a previous sample, which we do in order to keep the samples independent. In addition, you will see the analysis file for the inferential statistics. This code uses the cleaned data from each sample. We made the project public after uploading the results/data/code from Sample 1, 2, and 3. In samples 4, 5 and 6 we conduct confirmatory analyses. That is, having finalized our statistical/cleaning procedure working with the first 3 samples, we used the posted code to the same, pre-planned, analyses on to samples 4, 5, and 6. The code for conducting the analyses is the same, other than the removal of the investigation of MANOVA assumptions.
