Description: The aim of the meta-analysis is to investigate the evidence of Tier 2 reading interventions, conducted within the RTI-framework, concerning word decoding skills for at-risk students in primary school (Year K-2). Specifically, what are the effects of tier 2 interventions on at-risk students’ word decoding skills compared to teaching as usual (TaU)? ‘At-risk’ concerns risk for developing reading impairments and is defined as word decoding skills assessed on or below the 40t h percentile.
