## Materials ---------- **Questionnaire_Sample1.pdf** A copy of the Qualtrics questionnaire used to obtain the data of Sample 1. Participants were asked to fill out 20 moral judgments (10 purity and 10 care moral judgments - fully randomized) and were randomly assigned to one of four disgust sensitivity measures; Disgust Sensitivity Scale, Three Domain Disgust Scale, London Disgust Scale, or the Disgust Propensity and Disgust Sensitivity Scale (items within scales were randomized within blocks). Note that data of the latter measure were not rated on weirdness and frequency, and therefore not used in the current study, because they focus on introspection and are not hypothetical scenarios. **Questionnaire_Sample2.pdf** A copy of the Qualtrics questionnaire used to obtain the data of Sample 2. All 83 items of the Disgust Sensitivity Scale, the Three Domain Disgust Scale, and the London Disgust scale were divided in two sets. Participants were randomly assigned to one of these sets and rated weirdness and frequency of these items. Randomization was such that items were randomized within blocks and order of blocks was randomized. Half of participants first provided weirdness and then frequency ratings and half first provided frequency and then weirdness ratings.
