Study 1 – Replication of Sachdeva et al.’s Study 1 with a student sample in the lab The purpose of the present research is to investigate whether we replicate the original findings by Sachdeva et al. (2009) that participants in the negative-traits condition display more moral behavior than participants in the neutral condition and that participants in the positive-traits condition display less moral behavior than participants in the neutral condition. The (im)moral behavior measured in this study is the amount of money participants are willing to donate to a charity (similar to Sachdeva et al. (2009), Study 1).
