Description: In this study, we created a new task to train and test participants with recursive generative rules in the motor domain. We will 1) test whether human adults can acquire recursive rules in the motor domain without explicit instruction, 2) investigate their ability, after exposure, to discriminate between motor sequences that follow the recursive rule and those that violate it, and 3) assess whether participants can use the induced recursive rule productively to generate motor sequences.
