Description: BalanceAct is a research initiative dedicated to examining the prevalence, causes, and implications of technostress and digital burnout within the field of occupational therapy. The project aims to generate evidence-based insights into how digital technologies influence the cognitive, emotional, and occupational well-being of therapists and clients alike. By identifying risk factors and protective mechanisms, BalanceAct seeks to develop scientifically grounded interventions and guidelines to support sustainable technology integration while preserving mental health and occupational performance. The overarching goal is to establish a framework for promoting resilience and adaptive strategies in the face of increasing digital demands in healthcare settings.
