Wiki Version:
scale_it' is an open source program (written in graphical programming language Pure data and in Faust) that allows sonification of a time series signal's distribution in real time. The set of objects sonifies the chosen signal a variety of musical tone scale, ranging from 2 to 12 steps. The version 0.2 features substantial improvements, most importantly the newly added function - possibility to output real-time stream of MIDI notes on top of the former audio output. The set of objects was developed by C. Kaplan and rewritten in Faust by P. Husa. The software was created as part of the research project supported by the grant SVV 2020 – 260556 realized at the Charles University, Faculty of Arts. **Installation** Download and unzip. Link the folder with the set of objects to your Pure data. Use the pd files in the scale_it 0.2 folder to use the objects for your own work.
