Wiki Version:
Robots are increasingly framed as companions, teachers and coaches, but how much are we actually motivated to interact with them? To which degree do we perceive them as social agents? And how can experimental psychologists, roboticist and artists work together in giving robots better ‘social skills’? My talk will address these main questions and will aim to give an overview of the work done in the Social Brain in Action lab here at University of Glasgow.
