Description: This is a protocol for text-based exposure therapy, intended to be suitable for a wide range of groups bothered by persistent physical symptoms. The protocol includes only the components necessary for working with exposure and response prevention, and no other common interventions such as cognitive restructuring techniques, mindfulness training, or activity scheduling. For more information, see the peer-reviewed journal article for the prospective single-group feasibility study based at Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden (10.1186/s40814-022-01105-0). As of November 2024, no other evaluation of the protocol has been completed. The protocol was written by Erland Axelsson, and is free to use under CC BY-NC-SA 2.5 SE.
