Wiki Version:
Since the publication of Johnson, Cheung, & Donnellan (2014), multiple post-publication peer reviews and independent replication attempts have emerged. For post-publication peer reviews, see:
[http://yorl.tumblr.com/post/87428392426/ceiling-effects][4] For independent replication attempts:
[http://psychfiledrawer.org/replication.php?attempt=MTc3][7] ^^ All publicly available data are compiled here. For Study 1, these include Schnall's original data [1][8], our in-person replication [2][9], our online replication [3][10], and Michael Frank's online replication [4][11]. For Study 2, the data file includes data from Schnall [1][12] and our replication [2][13]. ^Note that we found out the data from Besman et al. (a replication of Study 1 from Psych File Drawer) [5][14] were lost when we contacted the investigators.
^^ We have access to Arbesfeld et al. data, but I am afraid I cannot share them here without the investigator's consent. However, I am happy to run analyses on them if needed. -Felix Cheung [1]: http://www.talyarkoni.org/blog/2014/06/01/there-is-no-ceiling-effect-in-johnson-cheung-donnellan-2014/ [2]: http://www.nicebread.de/reanalyzing-the-schnalljohnson-cleanliness-data-sets-new-insights-from-bayesian-and-robust-approaches/ [3]: http://pigee.wordpress.com/2014/05/24/additional-reflections-on-ceiling-effects-in-recent-replication-research/ [4]: http://yorl.tumblr.com/post/87428392426/ceiling-effects [5]: http://babieslearninglanguage.blogspot.com/2014/05/another-replication-of-schnall-benton.html [6]: http://psychfiledrawer.org/replication.php?attempt=MTQ5 [7]: http://psychfiledrawer.org/replication.php?attempt=MTc3 [8]: https://osf.io/4j8db/ [9]: https://osf.io/4mkvz/ [10]: https://osf.io/qy75n/ [11]: http://babieslearninglanguage.blogspot.com/2014/05/another-replication-of-schnall-benton.html [12]: https://osf.io/4j8db/ [13]: https://osf.io/4mkvz/ [14]: http://psychfiledrawer.org/replication.php?attempt=MTQ5
