Category: Project

Description: This project aims to identify the key factors of active travel that may influence the psychological wellbeing of different gender groups, considering variations across the lifespan and different geographical and socio-cultural contexts. The first phase of this project is a scoping review of gendered experiences, which will guide our future empirical work in collaboration with community organisations. The project is an interdisciplinary collaboration between the School of Applied Psychology, University College Cork (Ireland), the School of Geography and Planning, Cardiff University (UK), and the School of Arts and Humanities, University of Huddersfield (UK).
