Description: ABSTRACT Education is key to development. Modern Indian society is an outcome of research and education. Thus, making society equivalent to prevalent needs, the Indian government has brought a revolutionary change in the education system. However, despite the fact, India's shift in education policy has arrived recently after 34 years in 2020. The goal of the New National Education Policy is to make India a global knowledge super-power that addresses the highest standard of education for the advancement and overall growth of learners. This paper deals with the discussions of changes in the education system, evaluation, and study methodologies, and puts some light on how it will be a step toward freedom in education.
