This study aims to examine how different types of social bonds contribute to (i) engagement in COVID-19 related health behaviour, and (ii) mental health and wellbeing. This study comprises an analysis of two global datasets collected during the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic. Both datasets have been pre-registered and made openly accessible on the webpages of the original projects. The hypotheses and analyses of this study have not been pre-registered.
