These will be user-friendly, modular, scalable, practicable, financeable and acceptable for scientists. The proposed measures will be accessible as open source in the form of documents, instructions, guides, tools and training modules. Compliance will be demonstrable through a review process. With PREMIER, we aim to provide a framework for easy entry to a modular QM system, which can be implemented in workgroups, departments, or even institutions to systematically improve the quality of academic preclinical biomedical research.
