Description: Prostate-specific antigen (PSA) testing for early detection of prostate cancer presents both potential benefits and harms. While it can prevent a small number of prostate cancer deaths, it also leads to significant rates of overdiagnosis and unnecessary treatment. This study aims to explore men's preferences and attitudes towards PSA screening, examining the factors influencing their decisions to participate in screening. Utilizing a survey methodology, the study will assess the influence of demographic factors, past screening behaviors, family history, knowledge levels, and psychosocial factors on willingness to undergo PSA testing and accept associated risks. The research seeks to answer key questions regarding the perceived value of PSA screening and the extent to which various factors affect men's screening decisions.
