Wiki Version:
This node contains previous version of the manuscript with the first two studies from the current version described in more detail. It also contains more details about hypothesis we originally examined. This manuscript was submitted to *Judgment and Decsision Making* and we are thankful to Jonathan Baron and two anonymous reviewers for their thoughtful and useful comments. Note that the numbering of studies in the previous manuscript is different from the current manuscript. The current version of the manuscript does not contain Study 1 from the previous manuscript and the numbering of studies is changed accordingly. Study 1 and 2 in the present manuscript are therefore numbered as studies 2 and 3 in the previous manuscript. We removed the Study 1 from the manuscript because it was underpowered and it wasn't very well designed. However, the study gave some support for our initial hypothesis (i.e. that there is an associaction between fluency and risk for some categories of stimuli) which was also the reason why we conducted further studies on the topic. Note also that some of the details of analysis changed between the two manuscripts. For example, Study 2 (new numbering) was analysed separately for two samples where the data were collected in the previous manuscript, but the data are analyzed together in the present manuscript.
