Wiki Version:
This dataset comprises raw audio recordings of participants delivering impromptu speeches in front of other participants and a research assistant. One hundred nineteen participants participated in the study, but only 105 audio files were audible for further research. Researchers can utilize this raw audio data to accomplish their research objectives. Moreover, we authored a paper from this dataset titled ``[Unveiling Social Anxiety: Analyzing Acoustic and Linguistic Traits in Impromptu Speech within a Controlled Study][1]'' through which we are releasing this dataset. Methodology with the study setup used for data collection is shown in figure below. ![Methodology with the study setup used for data collection is shown in figure below][2] [1]: https://dl.acm.org/doi/10.1145/3657245 [2]: https://s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/images.growkudos.com/production/uploads/article_infographic/infographic/6085/infographic.png?v=1715104595
