Wiki Version:
We created training materials and organized hackathons and workshops on the CREP and open science practices for our African collaborators. We first organized a series of hackathons and workshops where some of the collaborators from various African countries participated in open science discussions and provided input at different stages of creating training materials. These training materials include training videos fashioned for African researchers and subtitled in seven African languages (Arabic, Chichewa, Hausa, Igbo, Portuguese, Swahili, Yoruba), syllabi, and a step-by-step CREP guide. The training materials are accessible and downloadable from our OSF Tutorial Videos page: (https://osf.io/8akz5/) and from YouTube (https://youtu.be/_x8dZxLmc-o, https://youtu.be/QLzDkHwepVY, https://youtu.be/QmwmEPAvzcI, and https://youtu.be/9jSLuNEUzjE). After the CREP project Africa replication study Registered Report was accepted, the lead researcher (Adetula) set up monthly consultations with collaborators to conduct the study. We also created resource syllabi for our collaborators’ courses with their input (https://osf.io/rfudt/).
