Description: The objetive of this study is to evaluate an evidence-based educational intervention for women with cardiac diseases in Canada, in terms of efficacy, utilization/acceptability, and implementation. Using a prospective, experimental design, the effects of this educational intervention on women’s disease-related knowledge, heart-health behaviour change, functional capacity, quality of life and psychosocial well-being will be evaluated.
