The dataset included here are for an experiment pre-registered at https://osf.io/vswh3 and analyzed in the paper, "Beyond the Whole: Reduced empathy for masked emotional faces is not driven by disrupted configural face processing." The experiment has 12 conditions of interest, manipulating the factors of Emotion (2: Happy, Neutral), Mask (3: Opaque, Clear, Mo Mask) and Face Orientation (2: Upright, Inverted) A total of 125 participants completed the experiment, and 116 consented to online data sharing. Their data is provided here in an SPSS data file (.sav).
