Expectations ------------ We are relatively agnostic about the existance of ego depletion effects in this study. None of our lab membership are involved in research on the topic of ego depletion, and we have no vested interest in the study's outcome. Given previous ego depletion findings, we expect a small or trival effect size (Cohen's d < 0.1) in our own analysis for both the mean reaction time difference and the ex-Gaussian fitted RTV.
