Description: Nursing handover is pivotal in clinical practice throughout care delivery settings and health organizations. It constitutes a critical moment to ensure proper continuity of care, i.e., handover or handoff of quality information about a specific client(s) entails intrinsic responsibility and accountability for his(their) healthcare. However, believing that this primordial moment in nursing clinical practice is exempt from implications for nurses' mental health is naive.
