Wiki Version:
Power Analyses ======= To determine the power and estimate the sample size for the experience sampling method (ESM) studies and longitudinal surveys of the project, we conducted a series of a priori power analyses before data collection, using Monte Carlo simulations in Mplus. Statistical power was estimated using the effect sizes of [the pre-registered pilot ESM study][1]. ## Monte Carlo Simulations ## All syntax files that were used to estimate the power for the ESM Studies and for the Longitudinal Surveys are available in the Monte Carlo Simulations folder. An overview of the rationale behind the power analyses and the outcome of the power analyses is available in the PDF document. [1]: https://osf.io/nhks2/?view_only=34f5c214a29d4010a072b95acb52a14c
