Description: The purpose of this project is to optimize the metal-free SI-ATRP (PMMA) process with regards to speed and adhesion strength and compare its properties to the normal SI-ATRP, to be able to understand the methods strengths and weaknesses. Furthermore, the polymerization of more functionalized monomers such as GMA can be investigated.
