It is organised in several worksheets described below: - ***EMOSE_SAMPLING_DESIGN***: Indicates which sampling containers (20L) were pooled for the different protocols, and how sampling was designed to increase the odds of getting "true" sampling replicates. - ***EMOSE_SAMPLES_METHODS***: Provides annotations about each sample, including sampling and filtration methods, type of filters used, volume filtered, filtration time, preservation method, additional comments, and url links to the relevant logsheets (pdf). - ***EMOSE_SAMPLES_ENVIRONMENT***: Provides annotations about each sample, including geolocation, sampling depth, ENVO terms, and environmental context such as temperature, salinity and flow cytometry counts (virus, prokaryotes and small eukaryotes). - ***EMOSE_SAMPLES_EXTRACTION***: Provides annotations about the extraction of each sample, including the plan for analyses (priority list) and the extraction yield (quantity of DNA) for each sample. - ***EMOSE_SEQ_YIELDS-MetaG***: Provides yields (quantity of DNA) at the various steps of MetaG sequencing, i.e. PCR, ligation and purification. - ***EMOSE_SEQ_YIELDS-MetaB-18S***: Provides yields (quantity of DNA) at the various steps of MetaB-18S sequencing, i.e. PCR, ligation and purification. - ***EMOSE_SEQ_YIELDS-MetaB-16S-ns***: Provides yields (quantity of DNA) at the various steps of MetaB-16S-nosizing sequencing, i.e. PCR, ligation and purification. - ***EMOSE_SEQ_YIELDS-MetaB-16S-s4***: Provides yields (quantity of DNA) at the various steps of MetaB-16S-450-650bp sequencing, i.e. PCR, ligation and purification. - ***EMOSE_SEQ_YIELDS-MetaB-16S-s6***: Provides yields (quantity of DNA) at the various steps of MetaB-16S-650-850bp sequencing, i.e. PCR, ligation and purification. - ***EMOSE_SAMPLES_SEQ-FastQ-LINKS***: Provides links to FastQ files available for all samples and sequencing strategies (i.e. MetaG, MetaB-18S, MetaB-16S-nosizing, MetaB-16S-450-650bp, and MetaB-16S-650-850bp). - ***EMOSE_SAMPLES_EBI-Analysis-LINKS***: Provides links to taxonomic and functional assignation performed by EBI Metagenomics for all samples and sequencing strategies (i.e. MetaG, MetaB-18S, MetaB-16S-nosizing, MetaB-16S-450-650bp, and MetaB-16S-650-850bp).
