Description: Our study addresses the question of how to capture individual experience and handling of obsessive-compulsive symptoms. By collecting responses to given, potentially triggering scenarios (similar to the Ways of Responding Scale for depression, Barber & DeRubeis, 1992), we are looking to establish a new approach for diagnostics and evaluation in psychotherapeutic treatment of people with OCD. Barber, J. P., & DeRubeis, R. J. (1992). The ways of responding: A scale to assess compensatory skills taught in cognitive therapy. Behavioral Assessment, 14(1), 93–115.
