Description: This theoretical objective is to understand the principles governing effective communication between sighted and visually impaired individuals through audio descriptions (AD). Specifically, how the visually impaired understand, segment, and experience spatiotemporal properties in event descriptions. The practical goal is to improve AD quality, support audio describer training, and enhance the understanding and accessibility of visual information for the visually impaired.
