Description: This meta-analysis aims to provide a comprehensive and thorough examination of how NIBS affects cognitive processes associated with the cerebellum in healthy adults. The primary objective of this meta-analysis is to explore the impact of NIBS on cognitive functions while considering the specific site of stimulation. Second, this study aims to unveil the potential effects of NIBS on cognitive performance by examining the timing of NIBS administration - whether it is during the participant's engagement in a task (online protocol) or after the task (offline protocol). Lastly, the study aims to examine whether NIBS modulates cognitive performance by targeting specific outcomes such as response times or accuracy. The purpose of this meta-analysis is thus to guide researchers in the creation of adequate protocols for cerebellar stimulation, based on the evidence collected so far.
