Description: Victor V. Golovko developed a robust statistical evaluation method applied to historical measurements of the 97Ru half-life. This method combines the most frequent value (MFV) approach with hybrid parametric bootstrap (HPB) analysis, providing a more accurate half-life estimate of 2.8385 days with confidence intervals of [2.8310, 2.8407] at 68.27% and [2.8036, 2.8485] at 95.45%. This new estimate significantly reduces uncertainty by over ten times compared to previous values. Additionally, the HPB method was applied to a small dataset for the specific activity of 39Ar, yielding a result of 0.966 Bq/kg with similar confidence intervals, demonstrating the method's capability to handle small datasets effectively.
