Wiki Version:
Overview -------- The purpose of this study was to reach consensus regarding which principles (i.e. norms or beliefs) should be used to guide spinal cord injury (SCI) research partnerships. The findings of this study were used to inform the development of the first IKT guiding principles for conducting and disseminating SCI research in partnership and will be used for the development of related tools and resources. Information about the IKT Guiding Principles project can be found [here][1]. Design and methods ------------------ The research aim was achieved through a Delphi Consensus Exercise. Participants (SCI researchers and research users) were invited to complete 3 online surveys. In the first two surveys, participants were be asked to rate which principles they would recommend being used to guide SCI research partnerships. In the third survey, participants were asked to categorize each principle as essential, desirable, irrelevant or unsure. Want to know more?
