Description: The main aim of the study was to examine if there are bidirectional predictive relationships between executive functions (selective attention and cognitive flexibility) and symptoms of depression and social anxiety in adolescents. The second aim was to study whether the longitudinal associations between executive functions and symptoms were different for boys and girls.
