Description: Objectives The objectives of this scoping review can be summarised as follows: 1. To identify and summarise the existing evidence base relating to hip and knee arthroplasty in lower limb amputees. 2. To explore whether clinical outcomes after hip or knee arthroplasty in lower limb amputees are comparable to non-amputees. 3. To identify any specific post-operative complications or challenges associated with undertaking hip or knee arthroplasty in lower limb amputees. 4. To synthesise technical tips and operative techniques which may assist the surgeon in undertaking hip or knee arthroplasty in amputees.
