The current OSF project contains the sound recordings for the Swedish Dichotic (Digits and Syllables) Speech Tests developed by Hällgren, Johansson, Larsby and Arlinger (1998). The materials consist of one set of audio files for use in the Dichotic Digits Test (DDT) and another set for use in the Dichotic Syllables Test (DST).
The development and an initial validation of the materials are described in Hällgren at al. (1998). The materials have been further validated in studies by Hällgren, Larsby, Lyxell, and Arlinger (2001) (DDT & DST), Idrizbegovic et al. (2011) (DDT) and Häggström et al. (2020) (DDT).
The sound files for both the DDT and DST are located in the folder 'Audio files', along with a calibration signal.
In the folder 'Supplementary Materials' you'll find a summary of the audio files along with scoring sheets in both PDF and Excel formats.
