Contains all analysis scripts for reproducing the results and figures reported for Experiment 1.

analysis_results_figures.R
is the main analysis script. It requires the bianry data file
exp1_data_prepared.rda
and the
helper_functions.R
.

The first part contains the code for fitting all models. The fitted models are saved in
true_model_selection.rda
(models for model selection) and
models_true.rda
(HIT model) and can also be loaded instead of refitting the model each time (note that fitting may take quite some time and may require lots of RAM).

Script for producing the model selection table,

analysis of the HIT model,

script for producing figures of predicted responses.

figures.R
requires the binary data file
exp1_data_prepared.rda
and produces the plots of the observed data as well as the histogram of response frequencies.
