Description: Follow-up to a cross-sectional study showing that valuing friendships was associated with increasingly higher well-being and higher health across the lifespan; valuing families showed a static influence. The purpose of this pre-registration is to outline the analyses and hypotheses beforehand. I plan to use data from the Health and Retirement Study to test these questions.
