This repository contains the R Markdown (.Rmd) files used to create my PhD thesis, "Developing linguistic competence in second language learning: Fluency and prosody in Italian learners of German", and their output in pdf. The R Markdown files contain the code scripted to produce graphs and statistical computations. The folders "data" (containing "tables" and "models") permit the inspection of the data and statistical models using the R Markdown files. The folder "spontaneous examples (prosodic marking)" contains example utterances found in Map-Task conversations, which are referred to in the thesis. These utterances are in form of an audio file (.wav) and their annotation in Praat (.TextGrid).
